Top Fantasy Flex Picks for NFL London Week 4

For Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season, some familiar faces are leading the charge in fantasy football. As you prepare for the NFL London game, keeping these top flex players in mind could help give your fantasy lineup the edge it needs.

Players like Alvin Kamara (New Orleans Saints) may be listed as questionable (Q), so it’s essential to monitor injury updates. The NFL’s official injury reports will reflect players’ statuses as questionable, doubtful (D), or out (OUT), which can have a significant impact on your roster.

The NFL London game is a highly anticipated event for fans, and many top performers in fantasy football will be in action. Standout players like Justin Jefferson (Minnesota Vikings) and Amon-Ra St. Brown (Detroit Lions) are expected to shine in their matchups. NFL London 2024: Week 4 Fantasy Football Updates and Concerns

As we gear up for NFL London 2024, fantasy football enthusiasts are keenly analyzing player performances, including running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends. However, I’d like to take a moment to discuss two quarterbacks who have raised concerns: Anthony Richardson and C.J. Stroud. Both were highly anticipated but have struggled to make a significant impact as we head into Week 4.

Concerns over Anthony Richardson and C.J. Stroud’s Performance. Anthony Richardson was expected to dominate the field with his rushing capabilities, but through Week 3, he has only managed one rushing touchdown. His involvement in pushing Trey Sermon into the end zone last Sunday raised eyebrows. While patience is often preached in fantasy football, it’s hard not to feel uneasy about Richardson’s performance so far.

C.J. Stroud also hasn’t lived up to expectations, throwing two interceptions in the Texans’ recent blowout loss to the Vikings. Even Sam Darnold gave him a consolation pat after the game. Stroud’s inconsistency could affect fantasy owners looking to flex players from the Colts or Texans.

Disappointments and Hope for Improvement in NFL London 2024

Speaking of underperformers, CeeDee Lamb is another player who has disappointed fantasy managers. Lamb posted just 8.7 fantasy points in Week 3. However, he faces the Giants on Thursday night, and his previous performance against them in Week 10 last season was stellar, scoring 39.5 fantasy points. Additionally, the Giants allowed 27.6 fantasy points to Amari Cooper last Sunday, which bodes well for Lamb’s chances in Week 4.

Standout Performers Heading into NFL London 2024. On the brighter side, Saquon Barkley has been a consistent force this season. If you were lucky enough to draft him late in the first round, you’re likely reaping the benefits. Barkley has scored over 33 fantasy points in two of his three games this season, proving himself as a reliable RB1.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Chicago Bears Tickets | NFL London Tickets | NFL London 2024 Tickets | Jacksonville Jaguars Tickets

Jonathan Taylor, despite facing a tough matchup against the Bears, still delivered with 26.5 fantasy points. He’s also recorded back-to-back 100-yard rushing games for the first time since 2021, making him a top-tier fantasy option as we head into NFL London 2024.

Wide Receiver Predictions for NFL London 2024

DK Metcalf is another player to watch. With two consecutive games scoring 20+ fantasy points, Metcalf is poised for a strong performance against the Lions on Monday night. Detroit’s defense has allowed the second-most fantasy points to wide receivers this year, positioning Metcalf for another breakout game.

As for Garrett Wilson, don’t lose faith just yet. While Wilson has only scored two receiving touchdowns in his last 18 games, he remains a key player on the Jets’ roster. Allen Lazard may be siphoning some of Wilson’s scoring opportunities, but it’s only a matter of time before we see more from the talented wide receiver.

Rookie Sensations and Veterans Making an Impact

Malik Nabers has been an exciting rookie to watch this season. Despite concerns over his quarterback, Daniel Jones, Nabers made history as the first NFL player to record 20+ receptions and 3+ receiving touchdowns in his first three career games. Leading the league in air-yard share (57.6%), Nabers is proving to be a must-start in fantasy leagues.

Lastly, Aaron Jones has been a revelation this season, ranking as the fantasy RB9 after three weeks. As we head into NFL London 2024, Jones has the chance for a “revenge game” against the Packers, making him a player to watch this week.

Amari Cooper’s Redemption

Amari Cooper bounced back from a slow start to the season with an impressive Week 3 performance. Cooper caught 7 passes for 86 yards and 2 touchdowns, including a 24-yard TD reception on the first play of the game against the Giants. As NFL London 2024 approaches, Cooper’s resurgence is a good sign for fantasy managers.

NFL London 2024 Fantasy Football: Key Players to Watch

As we head into NFL London 2024, keeping a close eye on player performances is crucial for your fantasy football strategy. While some players show promise, others may raise concerns. Let’s take a look at a few key players who could impact your fantasy lineup this season.

J.K. Dobbins: a fantasy concern. J.K. Dobbins, currently ranked as the fantasy RB12, didn’t impress in his recent matchup against the Steelers. While Pittsburgh boasts a strong defense, his upcoming Week 4 game against the Chiefs should offer more opportunities, as Kansas City’s defense isn’t as formidable. However, opponents are beginning to focus on stopping the Chargers’ run game, which could limit Dobbins’ effectiveness. If you’re considering starting Dobbins for NFL London 2024, it’s important to weigh these factors and be prepared for possible challenges.

Najee Harris: A Strong Pick for NFL London 2024?

Najee Harris looks promising as we approach NFL London 2024. Harris has seen consistent usage with 18+ touches in each of his last three games, and with Jaylen Warren limited due to a knee injury, Harris will likely carry a significant workload. This week, the Steelers face the Colts, a team that has struggled against the run. This makes Harris a favorable option for fantasy owners. The Steelers are expected to dominate, which bodes well for Harris’ performance. Keep an eye on the latest injury reports, but Harris could be a top choice for your fantasy lineup in NFL London 2024.

Bucky Irving: a rising fantasy star. Bucky Irving was a player to watch coming into the season, and his performance so far confirms that he’s worth the attention. After a solid game, Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles indicated that Irving has earned more snaps, particularly due to Rachaad White’s inefficiency. If Irving continues to see more action, especially in the passing game, he could emerge as a high-end fantasy RB2, making him a valuable asset for those participating in NFL London 2024 fantasy leagues.

The Panthers’ QB Situation: A Fantasy Boost for Diontae Johnson?

The Panthers have shown resilience after Andy Dalton stepped in for Bryce Young. Dalton’s experience has benefited players like Diontae Johnson, who saw 14 targets in Dalton’s first start of the season. With Dalton at the helm, Johnson could become the fantasy player many expected him to be at the start of the season. The Panthers face the Bengals in Week 4, and while Cincinnati’s defense isn’t elite. It offers a favorable matchup for Johnson to thrive. If you’re considering Johnson for your NFL London 2024 lineup, now might be the time to make the move.

As NFL London 2024 approaches, staying on top of player performances and injury reports is essential for fantasy football success. Whether you’re eyeing J.K. Dobbins, Najee Harris, or the up-and-coming Bucky Irving.

NFL London 2024: 2nd week of Prisco’s Picks

Pete Prisco shares all of his NFL London 2024 season choices for Week 2, including a few surprises. I detest picking NFL Week 1 games, as I mentioned to you last week. Surprisingly though, I had a respectable week. I had a respectable start to the 2024 NFL season with an 8-6-2 record against the spread and 10-6 straight up. The difficulty lies in how unpredictable the first week might be. The next step is to determine the proportion of Week 1 that is authentic.

As I strive to stay a step above the rest, maybe I did a respectable job of identifying the fakes here.500 following a fortnight. Don’t miss out on the electrifying action of NFL London 2024. The first week wasn’t too horrible. Hopefully, Week 2 will be even better.

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins (-1.5)

It’s Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET. Over his tenure, Josh Allen has amassed an 11-2 record while owning the Miami Dolphins. In this one, it won’t alter. This is a night game, but it’s always hard for the Bills to play in the heat. Although the week is short, Allen will win it in the end because the Bills will play strong defense. He keeps ruling the Dolphins with supremacy. Pick: Bills 28, Dolphins 24

Baltimore Ravens vs. Las Vegas Raiders (-9.5)

1 p.m. ET on Sunday. The Raiders are on the East Coast for their second consecutive road game against a squad that is playing its home opener on a short week’s notice. The Raiders are going to have a rough voyage. This offense will struggle, just like it did against the Chargers. This Ravens team won’t fight. Lamar Jackson is playing well.

Los Angeles Chargers (-6.5) at Carolina Panthers

Sunday, CBS, Paramount+, 1 p.m. ET. The Chargers have a long voyage ahead of them due to the early time zone, but the Panthers remain formidable. Their finest defensive player, defensive tackle Derrick Brown, is out due to injury after they played a terrible first game. It’s a really serious offense. As the Chargers triumph on the road, expect them to win at both scrimmage lines.

Selection: Panthers 9, Chargers 26

New Orleans Saints at Dallas Cowboys (-6.5)

Fox, fubo; Sunday, 1 p.m. ET. Both sides playing in this game have had two of their best performances recently. Once the Cowboys defeat the Browns, they will play their home opener, while the Saints are playing their first road game. As it did against the Browns, I believe the Dallas defense will continue to stifle the Saints. It’s close, but the Cowboys win 2-0.

Choose: Saints 18, Cowboys 23.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions (-7)

1 p.m. ET on Sunday on Fox and Fubo. This is a rematch of the Lions’ playoff victory from the previous season. With a banged-up secondary, the Bucs battled hard in that game, but this is a difficult assignment. Still, expect Baker Mayfield to keep them in it once more. A close game will be won by the Lions.

Select: Bucs 27, Lions 30,

Indianapolis Colts (-3.5) at Green Bay Packers

1 p.m. ET on Sunday on Fox and Fubo. With Jordan Love sidelined, the Packers will be led by Malik Willis. For Matt LaFleur and the coaching staff, that presents a significant problem. Against the Texans, the Colts offense had some huge plays but also gave up a lot of points. It won’t be enough, even though the Packers will unite around their new quarterback. The Colts win on the road.

Selection: Packers 20, Colts 23

Cleveland Browns at Jacksonville Jaguars (-3.5)

1 p.m. ET on Sunday on CBS and Paramount+. The Jaguars lost to the Dolphins after blowing a fourth-quarter lead, and Dallas destroyed Cleveland at home. It was terrible, Deshaun Watson. Road recovery versus the Jaguars defense, which postponed Miami, will be challenging. Watch for Jacksonville to move up to the winning column.

Choose: Browns 19, Jaguars 24

San Francisco 49ers (-6) at Minnesota Vikings

Sunday, CBS, Paramount+, 1 p.m. ET. These two teams looked good in their Week 1 wins. In McCaffrey’s absence, the 49ers intimidated a formidable Jets defense. I believe Minnesota will perform well here because their defense looked strong against New York. It’s almost over. Very close, but gave the upset victory to the Vikings.

Selection: 49ers 21, Vikings 22,

Seattle Seahawks (-3) at New England Patriots

1 p.m. ET on Sunday on Fox and Fubo. The Seahawks are traveling far on their first road trip, taking on a squad that surprised the Bengals the previous week. In that game, the Patriots defense was strong, and Seattle’s offensive line was struggling. That, in my opinion, is evident as the Pats use their defense to win a low-scoring game. New York Jets (-4) at Tennessee Titans

Sunday at 1:00 PM ET on CBS and Paramount+. These two had poor first-week performances. The Titan’s offense looked awful, while the Jets’ defense had a significant problem. A better Will Levis is required. Last week, the Titan’s defense played exceptionally well. Their defense will keep them in the game, and a late drive by Levis will seal the victory.

Picks: Titans 23, Jets 20

New York Giants at Washington Commanders (-2.5)

Sun., 1 p.m. ET on Fox and Fubo. Both of these are coming off of losses bad ones as well. Now that they’re on the road, the Giants appear to be the worse of the two teams. The Commanders will have multiple big plays from Jayden Daniels, but the Giants will come back to win this one.

Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals (-1)

4:05 p.m. ET on Sunday (Fox, fubo). After blowing a sizable lead last week in Buffalo, the Cardinals now have to play a division opponent at home in their opener. It’s always difficult when the Rams go on a road trip in a row. On the offensive line, they are also severely injured. But the Rams, who have won 13 of the previous 15, have dominated the Cardinals. Not at this moment.

Selection: Rams 21, Cardinals 27

NFL London Tickets | NFL London 2024 Tickets | NFL Tickets

Pittsburgh Steelers (-3) at Denver Broncos

Sunday, CBS, Paramount+, 4:25 p.m. ET. The Steelers are on the road for their next two games after their defense defeated the Falcons last week. Bo Nix, who had trouble in the first game, will have a difficult time against that traveling defense. The Bears, starting quarterback Justin Fields, should have a low-scoring game. Though it’s tight, the Steelers prevail.

Selection: Broncos 16, Steelers 17.

Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs (-6)

Sunday, CBS, Paramount+, 4:25 p.m. ET. The Bengals lost badly against the Patriots on opening day, but since Joe Burrow joined the team, they have consistently performed well versus the Chiefs. Right now, the offense lacks the firepower to match the Chiefs.

Choose: Bengals 20, Chiefs 30,

Chicago Bears at Houston Texans (-6.5)

Sunday, NBC, fubo, 8:20 p.m. ET. Caleb Williams will be playing on the road for the first time following a poor start in a Titans victory. He needs to improve. Although they lost on the road, the Texans showed promise by allowing the Colts to make some huge plays. CJ. Stroud will be slowed down by the Bears defense, but the Texans will win because of turnovers.

Selection: Bears 13, Texans 23

Atlanta Falcons at Philadelphia Eagles (-6.5)

Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET on fubo and ESPN. After playing and defeating Green Bay last Friday, the Eagles will get more respite here. In contrast to the Eagles, who moved the ball at whim against the Packers, the Falcons were completely flat offensively against the Steelers. Here, it will still be the case. Although he won’t be quite what the Falcons need to win it, Kirk Cousins will be better than he was a week ago.

Select: Falcons 24, Eagles 27

NFL London: When it starts, joint the teams of top Giants & Jets

Perhaps the Giants and Jets could share a roster, but they currently share a stadium. The two could form an incredible team of NFL London if they got together. A combined practice is scheduled for this Wednesday at the Jets’ Florham Park facility in advance of their preseason matchup on Saturday at MetLife Stadium. Which starting lineup combinations would there be? Now let’s examine this:

NFL London: Offense

Quarterback: Aaron Rodgers (Jets)

Wide receiver: Darius Slayton (Giants)

Wide receiver: Garrett Wilson (Jets)

Centre: Joe Tippmann (Jets)

Left tackle: Andrew Thomas (Giants)

Left guard: Jon Runyan Jr. (Giants)

Right guard: Alijah Vera-Tucker (Jets)

Wide receiver: Malik Nabers (Giants)

Wide receiver: Darius Slayton (Giants)

Running back: Breece Hall (Jets)

Tight end: Tyler Conklin (Jets)

Quarterback:

Daniel Jones is set to have a make-or-break season to demonstrate his ability as an NFL starter; if Jones performs better than Aaron Rodgers, the Jets will either be in for a major disaster or the Giants will have a major advantage. Rodgers’ health and ability at this age and stage of his career are undoubtedly question marks, but he’s unquestionably an all-time great.

Among the best quarterbacks in NFL history, Aaron Rodgers spent most of his illustrious career playing with the Green Bay Packers from 2005 to 2022. Chosen in the 1st round of the 2005 NFL Draft, Rodgers was Brett Favre’s replacement quarterback through his early career before taking over as the primary quarterback for the Packers in 2008.

Rodgers, who won Super Bowl MVP in 2010, led the Packers to victory in the 2010 game and is renowned for his extraordinary arm power, accuracy, and football IQ. Due to his exceptional consistency and clutch performances, he has received four NFL MVP awards over his career. Rodgers continued his legendary career with a new team in 2023 after being moved to the New York Jets.

Running back:

Saquon Barkley is out of town, so Hall is the obvious first pick. Devin Singletary of the Giants is a seasoned player with a great record of accomplishments, but Hall has displayed glimpses of his potential to be one of the league’s best weapons.

NFL London Tickets | NFL London 2024 Tickets | NFL Tickets

Wide receivers:

Two years into his NFL career, Wilson is already a star; Nabers, who was selected with the sixth overall pick in the draft, is expected to follow suit. Wan’Dale Robinson and Mike Williams were thought to be the third receiver, but Slayton, the ever-underappreciated wide receiver, has recently shown himself to be happier and more efficient than both of them.

The New York Jets were the team that welcomed talented wide receiver Garrett Wilson to the NFL after he was chosen 10th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft. Wilson, who excelled at Ohio State, made an immediate impression on the Jets during his rookie campaign by demonstrating his extraordinary speed, route-running, and playmaking abilities.

Leading the club in receptions and receiving yards, he developed to become a vital offensive target for the Jets. His outstanding play won him the 2022 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year title, solidifying his position as a future star for the Jets and one of the league’s rising talents.

Tight end:

Here, choosing between Hall of Famers isn’t the point. Conklin is the most accomplished choice by a wide margin. With a year of experience, can rookie Theo Johnson of the Giants take this spot?

Offensive line:

Although it’s difficult to sideline Jets left tackle Tyron Smith, Thomas is still a young player in the prime of his career and can follow in Smith’s footsteps. Furthermore, Moses plays naturally at right tackle, where he is by much the better choice, so we are not shifting Smith there. Runyan is selected ahead of Greg Van Roten and John Simpson, and Vera-Tucker is a lock to start at guard. Tippmann and Giants centre John Michael Schmitz were both novices in the previous year, but Rodgers’ new starting long snapper emerges victorious after a more impressive debut.

NFL London: Defence (3-4)

Nose tackle: Dexter Lawrence (Giants)

Inside linebacker: C.J. Mosley (Jets)

Defensive end: Brian Burns (Giants)

NFL London Tickets | NFL London 2024 Tickets | NFL Tickets

Defensive end: Brian Burns (Giants)

End Defensive: Quinnen Williams (Jets)

Strong safety: Chuck Clark (Jets)

Free safety: Tony Adams (Jets)

Edge rusher: Kayvon Thibodeaux (Jets)

Cornerback: Sauce Gardner (Jets)

Edge rusher: Jermaine Johnson (Jets)

Cornerback: D.J. Reed (Jets)

Defensive line:

Probably the most talent combined is at this position. Although there is still a pass-rusher outside of Williams, he plays a similar job as a defensive end after being relocated somewhat from his typical defensive tackle position to make room for the 3-4 defence. A formidable front line up front would include Williams, Burns, and Lawrence, three of the finest players in the league at their respective positions.

Edge rushers:

Because he continues to want a trade from the Jets, Haason Reddick is not included. Johnson, ranked No. 26 and Thibodeaux, ranked No. 5 in the 2022 NFL Draft, respectively, had breakthrough sophomore campaigns in 2018. Because of their versatility, Thibodeaux, Johnson, and Burns could play edge rusher or defensive end and switch between them.

NFL London Tickets | NFL London 2024 Tickets | NFL Tickets
NFL London Tickets | NFL London 2024 Tickets | NFL Tickets

Inside linebacker:

The hardest part of the Mosley situation is that Quincy Williams and Okereke had to be excluded. Long regarded as one of the league’s most respected leaders, Williams was named to the All-Pro First Team the previous season, and Okereke had a stellar rookie campaign with the Giants in 2023. Williams is barely ahead.

Secondary:

The Jets easily prevailed, and it wasn’t even close. The Giants’ first-round selection from the previous season, Deonte Banks, may soon be added to this list, although he isn’t quite as good as Gardner or Reed, two of the greatest players in the league. Furthermore, Michael Carter II, a nickelback for the Jets, is closer to cracking in than Banks. Tyler Nubin, a rookie safety for the Giants, needs to establish himself before he can pass Clark or Adams.

NFL London: Special teams

  1. Kicker: Graham Gano (Giants)

2. Kick/punt returner: Xavier Gipson (Jets)

3. Punter: Thomas Morstead (Jets)

NFL London Tickets | NFL London 2024 Tickets | NFL Tickets
NFL London Tickets | NFL London 2024 Tickets | NFL Tickets

A fixture in the league for a long time is Gano and Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein. Despite Zuerlein’s larger leg, Gano, who is back to full health, is usually more accurate. Accuracy will be used. Gipson was extremely effective as a returner for the Jets last season, and Morstead is a pretty obvious option over Giants punter Jamie Gillan.

NFL London: Coaching/front office

1.         General manager: Joe Schoen (Giants)

2.         Head coach: Brian Daboll (Giants)

3.         Offensive coordinator: Mike Kafka (Giants)

4.         Special team’s coordinator: Brant Boyer (Jets)

During their two seasons in command, Daboll and Schoen have produced one excellent season and one poor one. In every season since they took over, head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas of the Jets have been embarrassing. The playoffs have been reached by Schoen and Daboll, who have also won a game. Saleh and Douglas haven’t done either. Daboll has been named Coach of the Year. Saleh hasn’t done so.

In terms of coordinators, albeit both took a lot of flak last season, Kafka’s impressive debut season puts him ahead of Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. Boyer enjoys a high reputation inside the NFL London, while Ulbrich has led several elite units.

Contract disputes escalate with the arrival of training camps; players either leave camp altogether or, as in previous years, report to camp in order to avoid fines but refrain from practising until their financial issues are resolved. We’re keeping an eye on this since several well-known players are cutting back on their practice time, skipping altogether, or failing to report, exposing themselves to daily fines for which they won’t get paid.

Along with news from our NFL Nation writers, here’s a look at seven NFL players who were in limbo as training camps heated up. Two 49ers players and one of the three Cowboys stars seeking a huge deal are among the players still awaiting a resolution to their respective circumstances, while Tua Tagovailoa signed a contract with the Dolphins and Jordan Love of the Packers soon followed.

NFL London Brandon Aiyuk, WR, 49ers

Status: Reported for camp without engaging in any practice

While teammate Trent Williams waits, Aiyuk does not. Renowned NFL offensive tackle Trent Williams is well-known for his outstanding career in the league. During his ten-year stay in Washington, Williams was selected to many Pro Bowls and established himself as one of the best offensive linemen in the league. After being traded, he joined the San Francisco 49ers. He maintained his impressive play, being selected to multiple Pro Bowls, and solidifying his reputation as one of the most gifted and resilient tackles in NFL London history.

Wednesday’s practice was cancelled, as was expected, despite the wide receiver’s unexpected entry to the training camp on Tuesday. John Lynch, the general manager, did not indicate whether he was optimistic or pessimistic about the Niners’ chances of reaching a deal with Aiyuk anytime soon, despite the team’s repeated determination to keep the player this season. Aiyuk, nevertheless, is unlikely to take part in any on-field activities until a settlement of some sort has been reached.

Alvin Kamara, RB, Saints

Status: Reported to camp and is working out hard

On Wednesday, Kamara took part in every facet of preparation. Including 11-on-11 drills in which he was the target of a ball from Saints quarterback Derek Carr. Although he expressed dissatisfaction that the talks for a new contract have not advanced. Kamara stated he does not want to hold out. He gave an explanation for his early departure from minicamp. Stating that it was due to the lack of meaningful discussions about his contract this spring. In addition, he wanted to make it clear that he was searching for long-term security.

“As I’ve stated before, my goal is to become a saint. That’s where I want to retire, Kamara stated. I’m not asking for anything extraordinary; I’m just trying to set the record. I don’t make empty requests where I’m thinking, “Oh my gosh, we can’t do it.” That’s how I see it, anyway. My perception and the one upstairs, with whoever makes those decisions, are not the same. So we just keep going. I have to do what I have to do and keep my attention on it.”

Jordan Love, QB, Packers

Status: Granted approval for a four-year

In time to attend the Packers’ first full-pads training of the camp on Saturday, Love completed his deal. He attended every practice except for four, therefore he only missed four in total. The Packers will have consistency at the most crucial position for several more years. Even though it remains to be seen if he can duplicate the success of his predecessors, Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre.

CeeDee Lamb, WR, Cowboys

Status: Not anticipated to arrive at the camp

Sources told media reporter Adam Schefter on Tuesday night that Lamb is not anticipated to report to training camp with the rest of his squad on Wednesday. Lamb has not been able to get the kind of deal extension that other wide receivers have. Lamb is in the final year of a contract that will pay him $17.99 million this season. The Cowboys have been preparing for the All-Pro to miss training camp.

Lamb was not on the team’s Tuesday charter aircraft from Dallas to Southern California. But he won’t officially become the holdout until Wednesday.  You may also like: Which Wide Receiver Will Lead the Jaguars in NFL 2024

Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Dolphins

Status: Consented to a contract renewal

After agreeing to a four-year agreement worth $212.4 million, Tagovailoa became the third-highest-paid quarterback in the NFL London based on average annual value, thanks to the Dolphins. His new contract enables him to rejoin his colleagues on the field and continue to develop the attack that led the NFL in yards per play the previous season, following two days of infrequent practice participation.

Following the summertime extension of wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and the 2023 season signing of offensive tackle Austin Jackson, this is just another instance of the Dolphins investing in their players. Jevon Holland, a safety who has made it clear that he wants a new deal, is the next in line.

Haason Reddick, Edge, Jets

Status: keeping out of the camp

The Jets celebrated their acquisition of Pro Bowl edge rusher Reddick four months prior. The team is currently involved in a contract dispute with its high-profile defensive signing. Reddick, who is awaiting a new deal, did not report to training camp with the Jets on Tuesday.

The collective bargaining agreements required fine of $50,000 per day will be incurred by him due to his uncompromising position. The fine is non-waivable by rule. As he approaches the last year of a three-year, $45 million deal, Reddick is expected to earn $14.25 million in basic pay, which is not guaranteed, plus an additional $500,000 in incentives.

Trent Williams, OT, 49ers

Status: keeping out of the camp

The standout left tackle for the Niners, who failed to show up for the opening of training camp on Tuesday, is now officially a holdout. Although Williams, 36, is still among the top offensive linemen in the league and a vital member of the 49ers, his contract has three years left with no guaranteed money.

Though San Francisco would probably need to add big guarantees to at least the next couple of years of Williams’ deal and also elevate him back to at or near the top of the tackle market in terms of annual average value, coach Kyle Shanahan expressed optimism that something might be worked out quickly.
