The NFL 2024 is in its 3rd week. The initial fortnight has been… peculiar. The two best quarterbacks are Baker Mayfield and Derek Carr. At their respective positions, Chris Godwin, Alec Pierce, J.K. Dobbins, Jordan Mason, Jayden Reed, and Jameson Williams are all among the top six players. Isaiah Likely and Brock Bowers are the TE1 and TE2, respectively. More points have been scored by 14 fantasy defenses overall than by Kyle Pitts, the current TE7. Good times.

Week 3rd football quarterback rankings
I like them more…
In five of his previous six games going back to last year, Derek Carr has finished among the top seven fantasy quarterbacks. In nine of his last fourteen games, he has finished as the QB13 or higher. He’ll play against an Eagles club that finished second in fantasy points granted to the position the previous season and allowed Jordan Love and Kirk Cousins to finish as the QB11 and QB8, respectively.

Despite being without three of his best players (Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle, and Deebo Samuel), Brock Purdy can’t afford to overlook this game against the Rams. Only the Commanders have given up more fantasy points to rival quarterbacks since Week 4 of the previous season. In 11 of its 16 games throughout that time, Los Angeles has allowed the position to score more than 17 fantasy points.
I like him less…
Although this matchup for Caleb Williams could be alluring, it’s best to stay away from it for the time being. After two weeks, the Colts defense seems to be the epitome of a run-funnel defense. Against them, running backs have carried the ball 76 times, 14 more than the third-place club. This is nothing new; the Cardinals saw more carries from running backs in the previous season. Through two weeks, Williams is done as the QB31 and QB29, so this may not be the week he emerges as a star.

Week 3rd football running back rankings
I like them more…
Green Bay’s defense, which has given up 132 yards to Saquon Barkley and 135 yards to Jonathan Taylor in its 1st 2 plays, will test Tony Pollard. Not many backs have more than thirty carries and ten targets to their name, and Pollard is one of only four. The volume on this one should be high as well, considering Tyjae Spears’s current condition.
Against a Washington defense that is vulnerable, Zack Moss should benefit from having 13 opportunities (carries plus targets) in each of the first two games. If any team was more giving to their opponents’ backs in 2023 than the Commanders, it was the Cardinals. You may also read: News for NFL 2024 real rivalry among the chaos?
I like him less…
James Conner has finished among the top 12 backs in six straight games going back to last year, but this could be the week that that run ends. They allowed running backs to score more fantasy points when they competed the Lions in 2023. After two games this season, Detroit leads the league against the position while playing Kyren Williams and Rachaad White.

Week 3rd football wide receiver rankings
I like them more…
Compared to other wide receivers with at least 17 targets in 2024, Amari Cooper has 27 receiving yards, which is 62 fewer. The 30-year-old ranks among the top 20 in anticipated fantasy points per game and third in the league in air yards. Nineteen receivers scored ten or more half-PPR points against the Giants in the previous year. Seems like the perfect place to get it properly.
FantasyPros reports that Diontae Johnson’s five “catchable” passes rank dead last among wide receivers with more than ten targets. Amid the Atlantic Ocean, Bryce Young was unable to hit the water from a boat. Johnson becomes an interesting bet against an unimpressive Raiders secondary with the switch to Andy Dalton.
Jaylen Waddle
I like him less…
Eight games during his career have been played by Jaylen Waddle without Tua Tagovailoa at center. His final positions in those contests were WR27, WR72, WR75, WR17, WR77, WR16, WR36, and WR42. Not too good, Bob. He rose to fame in 2020 after winning a national tournament for his extraordinary speed and playmaking prowess. With their sixth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Dolphins chose Waddle. His explosiveness and flexibility were on full display in his debut season, when he established an NFL record with 104 receptions as a rookie. Currently, Waddle and Tyreek Hill make for a potent receiving tandem that is a vital asset for the Dolphins.
Week 3rd football tight end rankings
I like him more…
Six of the eight times Jake Ferguson ended as the No. 1 tight end at AT&T Stadium last season. He will face a Ravens defense that has given up more than 12 half-points per point to five tight ends in their previous twelve matches, notably 14.3 to Brock Bowers the previous week.
He is well-known for his powerful receiving and blocking abilities. He has gradually established himself as a vital member of the Cowboys offense since joining the team by serving as a dependable receiver in the passing match and an integral part of run-blocking strategies.

The Ranking Sam LaPorta
I like him less…
In just two games, Sam LaPorta scored just seven targets. In 2023, he scored 7.1 goals per game on average and never had a two-game streak with fewer than nine. From 14.7 points per game the previous season to 8.7 points this one, that was a decrease. In 2024, he will go up against the Cardinals defense, who was tenth in the league last season and has only given up three catches to tight ends.
With his steady hands and adaptability, LaPorta became one of the Hawkeyes’ most important offensive weapons. He became one of the best tight ends in the Big Ten Conference while attending Iowa, where he continuously enhanced his play. LaPorta was a remarkable player because of his ability to make critical receptions in both short and deep routes and to block the ball successfully.

After being chosen in the 2023 NFL Draft as a result of his college achievements, he started his professional career there.
