“It is a huge logistical challenge, says Philipp Wuerz, project manager for catering, cleaning, and waste on the Paris 2024 Organising committee”.
Avoiding queues, and providing food that is healthy, varied, and of good quality, with 25% of produce sourced from within 250km of each site, is challenging, to say the least.
“We’re used to managing this type of event, but not over such a long period,” says Stephane Chicheri, chief executive of Sodexo Live!
According to Maxime Jacob, the catering project manager for the Organising Committee, it will be crucial to maintain flexibility in the face of potential supply chain disruptions and increases in the cost of certain products. In an interview with AFP, Jacob explained that the athletes participating in the event will have access to a selection of 500 recipes, which are currently being refined and will be finalized by the end of this year. While the organizers are making efforts to source ingredients locally, it is not always feasible to do so, as pointed out by Wuerz. Thus, it may not be possible to ensure that all ingredients are 100% locally sourced.
Sustainability and Culinary Diversity at Olympic 2024 Games
“The athletes will eat around three million bananas and they don’t grow in the Paris region!”
According to Wuerz, bananas, exotic fruits, and rice will be certified as organic or fair-trade. Additionally, all meat and dairy products will be sourced from France, and the seafood will come from sustainable fishing practices. The recipe selection was created after consultation with athletes and nutrition experts, including Helene Defrance, a dietician and bronze medalist in sailing from the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Defrance explains that there are no set menus as organizers need to cater to the specific food requirements of each athlete, including those who require light meals or carbo-loading. In addition to the main Olympic food hall, athletes will also have access to haute cuisine. Three French chefs Amandine Chaignot, Akrame Benallal, and Alexandre Mazzia will have their area to serve their signature dishes, such as guinea fowl with langoustines, crispy quinoa muesli, and herb-packed chickpea pomade, respectively.
“The main food hall will have 3,600 seats and offer up dishes that are not just French-themed but also from around the world, as well as halal food for Muslim athletes”, Jacob said.
In a bid to help make the Games more sustainable, water fountains will be installed to reduce single-use plastics, while the kitchen equipment and cutlery will all be re-used after the Paralympics brings an end to a colossal logistic challenge.

With Omagh rider Jonathan Smyth third on board Mr. Kannan Ball, possessed by his mother Noletta and Roy Craig. Abbott won the fresh Bluegrass Grand Prix at Portmore, Aghalee, and appearances set for Dublin on this multi-tasker horse, which is a rarity being excellent for Olympic Paris at both horse trials and eventing. Co Antrim-based Savannah Marshall on Lemonade took fourth place in 37.82 just ahead off Francis Derwin with MMG Candy Lady.
Early breeze and rain didn’t deter the national and international showjumpers who impressed on an inaugural day at Balmoral Park. Olympic Equestrian Jumping Reflecting on the Grand Prix Eventing Festival at France Olympic
At the beginning of March, we controlled off to Aiken, South Carolina, for France Olympic the Grand Prix Eventing Festival. This was the fifth running of the showcase-style occasion and my fourth time there. And it’s a rivalry that I always look forward to. What makes this event so unique is that. It’s held in the dense grounds of Bruce’s Field and is run through. A combination of grass and surfaced arenas. Making it an ideal venue for Paris 2024 spectators to enjoy all three stages of our sport. This year was no exclusion, and many of the best riders in the country came to the contest. I was thrilled to have three of my finest horses there.

Grand Prix Eventing Festival Equestrian Jumping for Olympic Paris
They all performed well, and it was particularly great to take the win with Miks’s Master C. This was my third time winning the struggle on three different horses, which was very exhilarating. I find that our sport keeps changing for France Olympic all of the time. And I do believe that these showcase-style events are a fantastic addition to audiences, riders, and horses. I would like to see a few more of them throughout the season, and. While I still love the traditional form of eventing, these shorter. More compact competitions could have a real place going onward.
From my position, there are many aids to shows like the Grand Prix Eventing Festival in Aiken. The venue provides a lot of atmospheres for the horses and it’s a fantastic chance for France Olympic. To ride through a four-star/five-star test early in the period. The show jumping is also always challenging and up to height, and again provides a lot of atmospheres. For the horses thanks to the welcome tents and a large number of spectators at France Olympic.

Select the best England RWC players from each nation as the club season concludes, as well as the upcoming international matches, Rugby World Cup, and other major events. We then turn our attention to England with the qualification that some French players with international bases may be available for the Rugby World Cup 2023. Rugby World Cup fans can buy England Vs Japan Tickets from our website.
England Rugby World Cup 2023 squad
Status quo
Freddie Steward: Steward has one of the strongest aerial games around, despite his occasional tackling fragility and perceived lack of sheer gas. His capacity to ascend high and control space is crucial to Steve Borthwick’s plans given the expected England World Cup tactics, which include a lot of kicking off nine, ten, and possibly twelve.
With Anthony Watson, Elliot Daly, and Max Malins all having experience at 15, England’s Rugby World Cup squad back three options in reserve that offer a mix-and-match approach of wingers and full-backs, but the curveball comes in the form of Saints’ George Furbank, who has enjoyed a blisteringly effective season as a key attacking threat.
Ben Loader of the London Irish has also made an impression on everyone who has seen him in what can be regarded as the young England RWC players breakthrough year. 14 Anthony Watson: Despite the strong argument made by Newcastle Falcons speedster Adam Radwan, a status quo selection was decided once again.
Again, this is about selecting the best England RWC players for the expected game plan. Watson exudes class in attack and is simply exceptional in terms of his kick-chase and defensive game. There are plenty of possibilities for England in this situation; each of Malins, Daly, or Radwan can propose a different strategy.
The underdog in this battle, though, is the English-qualified Australian flyer James Ramm, a standout performer from Northampton who can play any position along the back three.
Pace and power
Joe Marchant:
The Quins outside centre has more tries, high balls, and tackles than any other English-qualified midfielder. Marchant is a fantastic athlete who provides a lot in gaining aerial competition, but England Rugby World Cup 2023 has treated him quite unevenly. A centre one week, a wing the next, and then utterly dropped.
This is the one we would like to see happen out of all of our choices
Which is puzzling given his performance in the Premier League. Speaking of actions in the Premiership, Fraser Dingwall of the Northampton Saints is the only centre who provides continuity of pass and attacking vision.
Although he has been a part of EPS squads since 2020 and continues to have an excellent attacking partnership with Scotland’s Rory Hutchinson at the domestic level, it is astonishing that his talents have yet to earn him a full cap. Luke North, Quin’s teammate at Marchant, would take part in this discussion.
If he could manage to go a run of games without experiencing a physical setback, Daly would serve as his backup. Daly is England’s best passer of the ball and, despite his defensive shortcomings; he poses enough of a threat to warrant inclusion in the match-day 23.
Ollie Lawrence:
Lawrence’s play for Bath has almost entirely turned around the West Country club’s fortunes, therefore it was appropriate that they clinched the final Champions Cup position in overtime thanks to his try. Fly-half pioneering has been a perennial problem position for England Rugby, partially due to the different needs of the position that have emerged over the last two years. Rugby World Cup 2023 fans can buy England Rugby World Cup Tickets from our website.
Marchant is a fantastic athlete who provides a lot in gaining aerial competition.
Because of his connection to our chosen 10, Saracen Alex Lozowski might receive a nod. His versatility may work in his favour. A powerful, smart, and outstanding defender who can play 12 or 13, he is worth much more than his five caps to date indicate.
Manu Tuilagi comes last on the list. Yes, he is being kept together by prayer and duct tape, but no other centre terrorises defences like the big guy on the crash. If healthy, he is exceptional, but in the later years of his career, fitness has been a constant problem for him.
Cadan Murley:
It is baffling why the outstanding Murley hasn’t received a single cap given that he leads the Premiership in try scoring with 15 and is a master of both the aerial and defensive game. His gifts of pace and power, out of all the England RWC players on our list, present the strongest argument of any of our form players.
While Hassell-Collins and Thorley have also been on fire at the domestic level, Joe Cokanasiga provides a physical counterbalance to any backline he adorns. Malins’ case is still very strong.
Owen Farrell:
If this is a form choice, then Farrell’s control of the Saracens backline has been simply brilliant the entire season, goal-kicking aside. They had shape and structure when he played for England at the age of 10.
The main problem Borthwick has is that choosing any of these two excellent England RWC players necessitates a complete reorganisation of the midfield surrounding them. Marcus Smith still provides Farrell with so much in so many different ways. And speaking of form, George Ford provides another incredibly excellent pivot option even though he has only recently returned from injury.
Alex Mitchell:
Mitchell’s ruck recycle speed, which is spiky, quick, and savvy, is at the crux of everything excellent about the Saints’ attacking brilliance. His season has been fantastic, and when he played with England, the team’s pace picked up considerably. Although he doesn’t always make the finest passes and doesn’t always kick, he lights up whatever back division he plays in.
Zach Mercer:
Being able to stay in the Top 14 is difficult enough, but dominating it as Mercer has is an incredible feat. With Mercer’s combination of carry, wide support, and lineout expertise, England has battled at eight for a while. He is one of England’s key World Cup England RWC players.
Farrell’s control of the Saracens backline has been simply brilliant the entire season
Regarding English exiles in France, Tom Willis has also been getting the French talking since he brings brawn and strength to the most vicious league in the world. Sam Simmonds of Exeter is also still in outstanding shape. He and his abilities have never received the long-term support that their continuous greatness deserves from the England Rugby World Cup coach.
Jack Willis:
Only the lack of possibilities England has elsewhere, particularly at five or six, can outweigh the wealth it possesses at age seven. Willis’ performance has improved significantly after moving to Toulouse, though; in the Champions Cup semifinal match against Leinster, he was unquestionably the team’s finest player. His accuracy and error rate have both significantly improved.
We wouldn’t mind seeing any of these flankers start (with the caveat that Pearson can also play at six), with Pearson’s case being strengthened by his stat-leading Premiership season. Willis may be the guy to watch now, but Tom Pearson may very well be that England RWC players tomorrow.
In the practice games, Steve Borthwick must give the Exiles flank every opportunity to shine. The assumption behind all of this is that Tom Curry will part with the jersey he has owned for so long. Given Curry’s ability to perform at Test level in any back-row position, we don’t see that happening.
Ben Earl, Ben Curry, and Will Evans should be included since they are in a good position, but we think Willis, Pearson, and Tom Curry will win the shootout.
George Martin
If Courtney Lawes breaks, England RWC 2023 won’t have many choices for large flankers. With back-rows the size of Marcos Kremer, Charles Ollivon, Scott Barrett, and Anthony Jelonch dominating the Test match gain line, the Rugby World Cup landscape has transformed recently.
To enter a Test with a mixed-up hybrid seven configurations is to give up breakdown power, and Martin is the player who can overcome unstoppable force with immovable objects thanks to his 94% tackle completion rate.
Ted Hill at Bath is a possibility, and Lewis Ludlam didn’t embarrass himself this season when playing for England. However, for us, Martin represents a tremendous opportunity to restore balance to the England back-row.
Congratulations to the RWC 2022/23 Player of the Season
Val Rapava-Ruskin
Val Rapava Ruskin will be eligible to play for England in December
This is the one we would like to see happen out of all of our choices, is the clear message we’re trying to convey. He possesses one of the most comprehensive sets of a jackal, tackles, offload, and pure scrummaging power in the game, making him the best loosehead in the northern hemisphere.
There are many rumours that he is difficult in camp and that he damaged his relationship with the coaches in January, but England cannot afford to overlook his talent because he is a match-winner. The owner and a crucial England leader are Ellis Genge.
Rapava-Ruskin starting and Genge concluding propose ‘Bomb squad’ levels. The different playing philosophies of Bevan Rodd, Beno Obano, and Joe Marler in reserve cover all the bases at a position of tremendous strength for England. If only Tightheads had the same resources.
British equestrian Ros Canter has added to her country’s impressive record at the Badminton Horse Trials with a memorable victory on board Lordships Graffalo. The 37-year-old equestrian rider was determined to maintain her lead and put in a faultless performance. She incurred just four-time faults to finish with a final score of 35.3 penalties. Her impressive 15-penalty winning margin is a record for any elite eventing competition. She highlights the outstanding skill and talent of her partnership with Lordship Graffalo. The duo had finished as runners-up in Badminton the previous year. But this time they left the rest of the field trailing far behind and are targeting Olympic Paris.
The chasing pack was led by former world number one, Oliver Townend, and his mount Ballaghmor Class. But they were a distant second, while Austin O’Connor of Ireland and his horse Colorado Blue claimed third place. This was O’Connor’s first podium finish at Badminton, coming 24 years after his debut. On the other hand, Townend secured his sixth top-three finish across the prestigious Badminton, Burghley, and Kentucky events. And that was by riding Ballaghmor Class to another impressive performance.
Canter expressed her delight with her mount’s performance, stating that he loved himself and that things could not have gone any better for him. She also acknowledged the support of her team, without whom she could not have achieved success. She is really excited about Olympic Paris Games.
Paris 2024 set to scrap Equestrian Eventing test event at Versailles to save costs
As part of an effort to reduce costs, there will be no eventing equestrian test event held before the upcoming Paris 2024 Games in France. Ahead of major sporting events like the Olympics, a full test event is traditionally conducted. But according to the website An Eventful Life, the International Equestrian Federation has decided against holding one for Paris 2024.
The FEI has confirmed that the decision not to hold a test event for the equestrian competition at the Olympic Paris has been made, at least in part because the competition is scheduled to take place in a temporary outdoor arena at the Chateau de Versailles. And that was to save on expenses. According to a spokesperson from the International Equestrian Federation, the decision not to hold an eventing test event before the France Olympic was made during the FEI General Assembly in November 2022 in Cape Town.
The spokesperson explained that the decision was based on the logistical and cost implications of delivering a temporary venue twice. And their main desire is to minimize the impact on the UNESCO world heritage site of Versailles. As there the equestrian events will be held. The spokesperson also noted that hosting a major equestrian event in a temporary venue without a test event is not uncommon. As such, the FEI is confident that the equestrian competition at Paris 2024 will be successful, despite the lack of a test event.

In addition, test activities for pontoon water crossing and general venue familiarization are scheduled to be held in Versailles. But with invitations extended to National Olympic Committees and National Federations. The decision to use existing events and conduct targeted test activities is a cost-effective approach. As it will also minimize the impact on the iconic Versailles site and the local community. GL Events Equestrian Sport is confident that its plans will ensure a successful and memorable equestrian competition at France Olympic.
Olympic 2024: Irish eventing team secures Olympic Paris Equestrian Eventing spot
The Irish eventing team secured a spot at the Olympic 2024 by finishing in fifth place at the FEI World Championships held in Pratoni. The team, managed by Dag Albert, comprised Sam Watson, Padraig McCarthy, Susie Berry, and Austin O’Connor. Following the dressage round, they began the competition in 12th place with a score of 99.0. However, they managed to climb to fifth place after the cross-country section with a score of 105.0.

In the jumping round, they ended with a score of 136.8. And that secured their position within the top seven teams, who were eligible to participate in the Olympic 2024 Games. Germany, the USA, and New Zealand clinched the top three spots in the team eventing competition at the World Championships. While Great Britain finished fourth. The Irish team finished in a strong fifth position, with Sweden and Switzerland coming in sixth and seventh, respectively.
With this result, the Irish eventing team has secured a place at the Olympic 2024 Games. And joined the Irish showjumpers who qualified the previous month with a fourth-place finish at the FEI World Competitions in Denmark. Dag Albert, acting High-Performance Director for Horse Sport Ireland, expressed his delight at the team’s success. But particularly praising their performance in the cross-country section. He thanked all those involved in helping the team achieve their goals, including the riders, grooms, owners, and support staff.

Is it OK up to now several guy at a time? How do you understand just who the right one is for me?

Dr. Wendy Walsh’s Answer:
Christina: Great question! Yes, its definitely OK as of yet more than one man at a time. Bear in mind, times are interviews. You are choosing which to simply take in the firm in a partnership position, and you also much better be discerning.
What is maybe not okay is to be sex using more than one person without their particular permission. Changing microbes and distributing them all over city just isn’t a beneficial sweetheart move.
It is also not OK to rest. If either guy requires if you’re unique with him, tell the truth. Assuming one among them begins to spend money on you prefer you will be an exclusive gf, beginning splitting the expenses.

Riders agree to disagree about the Equestrian Jumping Paris Olympic format
There is a contentious issue in the world of show jumping regarding the three horse-and-rider combinations per team Olympic formula. The FEI has proposed a review of the qualification system for the Paris Olympic Games. As it will be given priority after the Tokyo Games. The FEI Jumping Committee has already indicated that they will adhere to the Olympic formula of three horse-and-rider combinations per team.
However, some show-jumping riders, including Steve Guerdat, Ludger Beerbaum, Mclain Ward, Nick Skelton, and Rodrigo Pessoa. They have expressed concerns and grievances about this new system. Their biggest concern is the welfare of the horses involved. Rodrigo Pessoa, a renowned show jumping rider, has expressed his worries about horse welfare in the new three horse-and-rider combinations per team Olympic format.
He believes that the FEI Jumping Committee should listen to stakeholders, gather information, and make decisions for Paris Olympic based on the best recommendations possible. However, he has learned that the committee is not unanimous in their decision. Whcih is with two members in favour of having four riders and a drop score instead. Pessoa disagrees with the dispute that the Paris Olympic tournament is hard to recognize. Specially when there are four riders, and the worst score is scratched off.

It is not a complicated task to follow a team competition format with four riders, and using the excuse that it is difficult to understand is simply poor reasoning, he believes. He even compares it to following cricket, a sport known for its complex rules. Moreover, the American, French, German, and Irish national federations have also expressed concerns about horse welfare in the new format. However, the FEI Jumping Committee’s report did not address these concerns during the FEI Hybrid General Assembly.
Three to a Team gets the nod for Olympic 2024 despite concerns
During the FEI General Assembly held from November 14-17, the delegates conducted a vote and decided that teams of three will compete at the Olympic 2024 Games. However, the exact formats for the equestrian disciplines in the Olympic 2024 and Paralympic Games are still under consideration. And it will be decided at the International Olympic Committee executive board meeting in February. The rules and minimum eligibility requirements for Olympic disciplines are also yet to be consulted on. And the process is expected to run over the next 12 months.
The decision taken this week by horse sport’s decision-makers at the FEI general assembly effectively confirms the format of three combinations per team for the Olympic 2024 and Paralympic Games. While the exact formats of the equestrian disciplines for these Games are yet to be finalised, the process of qualification has been set in stone. The three-to-a-team format has faced criticism from riders and national federations alike, and FEI president Ingmar de Vos proposed a separate vote on the qualification process for teams of three.

The International Jumping Riders Club has shared a video of Olympic medallist Steve Guerdat speaking on the club’s behalf about how the fantastic sport in Tokyo was down to the sportspersons, course designer and horses, and not the new arrangement. Steve Guerdat’s suggestion of increasing the number of individual places and reducing the number of teams to four riders each, rather than three, could potentially be a better way forward.
He argues that this would increase the number of flags at the Games, a key priority for the International Olympic Committee, and help grow the equestrian sport in developing nations. Not all nations have enough riders at the required level to field a team, so boosting the individual quotas would help build the sport globally and act as a progressive way towards more countries qualifying in the future.
