I’m aiming for even greater achievements. Not because repetition is ineffective, but because there’s a strategy to it. With the Winter Olympics approaching, I want to immerse myself in various lessons and experiences that will prepare me thoroughly for the Games. And this should be done this year.

After taking time off at the beginning of last season for an internship, Boutin is set to return to coaching full-time. She ended the season on a high note on March 16, achieving her first career championship. It was at 500 m. Until then, on the world circuit, she wants to be the Messi of her team. This means doesn’t run every ball, run when it counts. We really choose our moments to be optimal at the right time, like last year. For me, it’s more about choosing when I want to be 100% and use that form, in that moment. I see it as a ball of energy that I carry throughout the year and when I really want to perform, I drive it 100%.
