Malaysian Youth and Sports Ministry has announced that 15 athletes have been shortlisted for the Olympic Paris. Minister Hannah Yeoh stated that these athletes were selected based on their achievements of medals at Tokyo 2020 or their current top 10 rankings in their respective sports. The ministry will also continue to monitor the performance of other athletes during the qualifying period leading up to Olympic Paris, with the possibility of including them in the team.
