Weisz reflected upon her first Olympic Games and stated that she had a great experience. Even though she did not advance to the medal round. Weisz felt comfortable and knew that she had given it everything she had that day, which was enough for her. She is motivated to continue competing in other competitions and improve upon her performance.
Weisz shared that she believed she was capable of winning an individual medal. Just as she had believed during her time at the Tokyo Olympics. She has been working hard all year in her training. To improve upon the areas where she felt she was lacking in Tokyo. Although the team event may seem similar to an individual event. The shift in mentality required to score well makes it a challenging event for Weisz. While she is still focused on shooting her best score. She also has to keep in mind that her score will contribute to the team’s overall score, which puts more pressure on her performance.
