British Athletics name athletes to receive funding ahead of France Olympic

UK Sport has indeed announced a group of 66 athletes nominated to receive National funding for the upcoming year. Which is in preparation for the World Championships, the 2024 European Championships, and the Olympic 2024. As these are still over 18 months away. These athletes have also been considered for membership in British Athletics’ Olympic World Class Programme.

The Olympic World Class Programme consists of four categories. These categories are  Podium, Podium Potential, Relay, and Confirmation. The selected athletes will benefit from the UK Sport National Lottery funding, aiming to support their training and development in their respective categories. According to British Athletics, athletes nominated for the Olympic World Class Programme must demonstrate realistic potential and performance capability.
