Group A: Virgil van Dijk vs Sadio Mane
Team-mates at Liverpool since 2018, Sadio Mane from Senegal and Netherlands defender Virgil van Dijk will be rivals at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as they try to help their country reach the winner phases.

Group B: Christian Pulisic vs Harry Kane

Germany’s Thomas Müller, one of the best goal scorers in FIFA World Cup history, will struggle against Spanish defender Cesar Azpilicueta in Qatar. So, with Muller’s Bayern Munich being capped world champions in 2020 and Azpilicueta’s Chelsea winning the same a year later. The match between Germany and Spain will thus see two former FIFA Club World Cup winners.
Group F: Kevin De Bruyne – Luke Modric
Belgium vs. Croatia is one of the most expected group matches of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Thanks in large part to a coveted match between midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and Luka Modric.
Modric and De Bruyne were star players at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, with Croatia and Belgium finishing second and third correspondingly.
Group G: Neymar v Xherdan Shaqiri

Group H: Cristiano Ronaldo vs Luis Suarez
One of the all-time greatest goal scorers. Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo will star in Group H alongside Uruguayan all-time goal scorer Luis Suarez.
Their team discussion will bring back memories of the Clasico of the past, with Ronaldo playing for Real Madrid from 2009 to 2018 and Suarez in Barcelona’s colors from 2014 to 2020.
