Sam Curran was ruled out. England’s squad revised. England’s all-rounder Sam Curran was ruled out of ICC T20 World Cup 2021 due to a back injury in the Indian Premier League. He complained about the back pain, then a scan was done and the scan revealed the lower back injury.

In few days, he will fly back to the UK and more scans will be done before England and Wales Cricket Board’s Medical team review the injury. In Curran’s replacement, his brother Tom is added to England’s team for the T20 World Cup 2021. Reece Topley is added as a traveling reserve.
The team of England which is not participating in IPL arrived at Muscat base on Tuesday. Engliand team will stay in Oman until 16 October for a quarantine period. They will then go to Dubai. Their first match is against West Indies on 23 October.
England will play a warm-up match against India on 18 October. They will also play against New Zealand two days later.
