Former Pakistan Test cricketer Tauseef Ahmed is feeling confident that India will definitely be worried about changes made in the Pakistan squad for the upcoming T20 world cup. The clash between Pakistan and India will happen on October 24.

Wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed and Haider Ali had replaced Azam Khan and Mohammad Hasnain respectively. While opener Fakhar Zaman already added to the squad as a traveling reserve, Fakhar Zaman replaced Khushdil Shah. On the other hand, Shoaib Malik added in replacement of Sohaib Maqsood.
The players who are replaced did not perform well in the National T20 Cup. National T20 Cup took place after the series with England and New Zealand were canceled. Moreover, Sohaib Maqsood made his place in the squad but was dropped due to a back injury.
Talking in a show on Tuesday, Tauseef said: “The match is going to be tough, but I believe anything can happen and Pakistan might just win the match.”
“But yes, India has a balanced team from top to bottom. India must definitely be worried after Pakistan announced their new squad,” Ahmed said.
Speaking about the importance of seniors, he said juniors “were not being considered [for the squad]”.
“Pakistan should have tried different combinations like they are doing now,” the former Test cricketer added.
Recently, the Babar Azam-led Pakistan squad won from West Indies by seven wickets in the warm-up match for ICC T20 World Cup in Dubai on Monday.
Additionally, Pakistan played the second warm-up match on Wednesday against South Africa. South Africa won by 6 wickets.
