And he also won a bronze medal in the individual recurve event at the 2023 Archery World Cup Event 1 in Antalya, Turkey.
Upon returning to his hometown, the 21-year-old expressed his ambition to win a gold medal in the upcoming stages of the World Cup, World Championship, and Asian Games. And this will increase his chances of representing India at the Olympic 2024 Archery Competition. Bommadevara’s rank has climbed from 256 to 62 after winning two medals at the World Cup. He will participate in the World Cup Stage 2 in Shanghai and the World Archery Championship in Berlin. Another archer from Vijayawada, Vennam Jyothi Surekha, won two gold medals at the World Cup Stage 1. And he has already qualified for the Archery World Cup Final in Mexico.
